Tempest — Eildon Days
Sour IPA
We’ve been eager to get a collaboration in with our friend Denis for a long time, and on one sunny day in the Borders, it finally happened. A Sour IPA fermented with wild saccharomyces and dry hopped with El Dorado, Ekuanot, and Mosaic. Ripe tropical fruit and and berry on the nose, juicy grapefruit and plenty upfront acidity on the palate, with a tart finish. The name comes from the Eildon Hills at the bottom of which our brewery sits, and we love sitting out the back of the brewery on a warm sunny day in sight of the Eildons with a couple of beers. The artwork was commissioned from a local artist, Andrew Denholm.
