Dark Sour Stout
Hoot is the first part of our Point Of Origins Series. This series is formed from our parti-gyle collaboration brew with our friends at Marble Brewery. All the beers in this series have been produced from a single mash and consists of: ‘Hoot’ a forest fruits and coffee Dark Sour, ‘Hoot Hoot’ a black forest gateaux Imperial Sweet Stout and barrel aged variants to be released in due course.‘Hoot’ was created with Marble’s house lactobacillus culture alongside sour cherries, redcurrants, damsons and graphene espresso ground coffee from Ancoats Coffee Co. sourced from Aldo Parducci’s coffee farm, Las Brumas. Altogether this combination with the flavours from the speciality dark malts creates a complex and layered dark sour beer with fruity coffee notes.
