Dig — Project Green Book
New England IPA
Similar to Mount Rainier this New England style IPA has been hopped with a combination of USA (Citra), AUS (Galaxy) and British (CF 182 – Opus) hops.
Taking findings we have learned during our “Studio Z” projects in which we have been experimenting with the use of exclusively British hops we decided it was time we started using these experimental varieties along side the biggest and best in the industry.
CF182 (soon to be named Opus) is an experimental variety that has been developed by Charles Faram in the UK. We are able to get super limited quantities of hops such as this and as their use and popularity grows so will the space on British hop farms for their growth.
Previously we have used a lot of CF182 in the dry hopping part of our processes in beers such as Waka/Jawaka and Big Swifty which is a role it reprises here it.
Very exciting beer and doubly so because of these hops.
