Hoppin’ Frog brewmaster Fred Karm has won multiple awards for his chilli cooking, and the Hoppin’ Frog Tasting Room has been voted one of the best in the US for its food, so we decided to collaborate on a chilli beer with a chilli con carne cook-off while we brewed it! Caramel sweetness from the malt balances the smoky heat in this one-off celebration of the glorious chilli pepper.
