Wheat Beer
Hop focussed wheat beers are uncommon in the UK, but we’ve always enjoyed exploring the balance between a bold, modern hop profile, classic yeast esters and a pillowy body. In the past we have used a German hefeweizen yeast strain to make Hopfenweisse but this time we decided to experiment with a Belgian Wit strain. The resulting beer is more Houblin-Wit than Hopfen-weisse, which proves a phenolic, spicy yeast profile.
