If particular products run out of stock upstream the stock we can get will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. We will inform you of any shortfalls as soon as we know about them.
Twisted Wheel RE-LAUNCH with McCanns
Hello everyone – Yvan here with something new for y’all. Not entirely “new” perhaps – but thoroughly refurbished. Twisted Wheel is a brewery name some will know, we even had some requests for it – but the previous owners decided to shut it down before we could get a look-in. The brewery is under new-ownership – they’ve kept the original brewer (Ant, formerly head brewer at Vocation) and given him a shiny new kit to play on down in Kent. This site is also home to the more traditional McCanns brewery – and they’re located on the Hukins hop farm – how perfect is that? This new listing comes to us courtesy of Justin Rivett who used to run all things sales at JGB – he’s now looking after sales and marketing for United Craft – the umbrella for both Twisted Wheel and McCanns. There’s no reinventing of any wheels going on here – what Ant was doing before at Twisted Wheel was already gaining traction, they’ve just put some new rubber on it and made sure it’s inflated properly.
The relaunch beer list includes old firm favourites like Purple Haze but also new entries like the Bella Vita Italian Pils… we’ve got something for everyone here with 7 beers in the keg range from Twisted Wheel as a core offering (go BIG or go home! hey) with 5 of those also available in cask, and we also have the 3 core cask ales from McCanns following more traditional style likes as well as a different take on a 4.5% Pilsner. For those who want to offer gluten free options both the Twisted Wheel Bella Vita and Opus session IPA tick that box!
There’s an official launch-date of Saturday May 25th, orders placed between now and Monday 13th May will be in time to get the beers out to you for that date (for most folks deliveries w/c 13th May, for East Anglia it’ll be delivered on May 21st.)
