Fyne has some excellent core beers in all formats – they’re a true modern classic of the pale-n-hoppy, I mean, Jarl… c’mon… cask perfection. But they have many more good strings in their bows as well. They do a damn fine dark beer – and the Mills & Hills coffee impy stouts are fantastic, there are three varieties of this available in keg. And the real highlight for me is the work they’ve been doing on the Origins mixed-ferm project – we have 5 different Origins beers in 6x375ml bottle format:
Acres – Bretted Saison, Oak-Aged on Raspberries
Beams – Oak-Aged Bretted & Blended Farmhouse Ale – Duration collab!
Elegy – Whisky BA Imperial Dark Ale – Cigar City collab!
Expedition II – White Wine BA Nelson Sauvin IPA
Home 3 Year Blend – Blended Spontaneous Ferment Ales
all these, plenty more core – and Jarl in 440ml cans!
six°north do a range of easy drinking beers brewed with finesse, available in bottle and keg – their Peloton pilsner, Wanderlust wheat, and Omnium session IPA are all pint-and-pint-again beers rarely seen down here in southern parts.
There is a great range of bottled beers available from 6DN – stout, BA impy stout, heather ale, pale ales, and continental styles.
