Brewed to celebrate Vessel Beer Shop’s birthday, Katie and Sam came over to the brewery to lend a hand in the making of this beer. They wanted a beer based on one of their personal favourites of our previous brews, Islands in Space.

This Sour IPA packs a celebratory pop with a vinous dry hop of New Zealand Nelson Sauvin, Australian Galaxy and Californian Citra making the beer’s flavour character similar to that of champagne. The beer’s body however, unlike champagne, is silky smooth and made up of Extra Pale malt, naked oats, rolled oats and finished with maltodextrin to give a touch extra sweetness.
